I started teaching Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror (i.e., Speculative Fiction) workshops for Inlandia Institute in Fall 2025. Inlandia has asked to continue teaching this workshop in Fall 2026.
The Fall workshop is scheduled to start on Wednesday, October 7. We’ll meet from 6-8pm (Pacific) every other week for five sessions.
Each quarter I include new lectures and exercises, so you can expect a year of unique lecture material. We spend about half of our time critiquing the writing of workshop participants as well.
When Inlandia provides me additional details, registration links, etc., I’ll either update this page or redirect it to information on the Inlandia website. I expect to have this information prior to the opening of WorldCon 2026 (LA Con V) in Anaheim later this month.
